Rev. Larry J. Rodencal Rev. Larry Rodencal was born to John and Jeanette Rodencal and raised in Mt. Healthy, Ohio. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Greenhills, Ohio. He graduated from Mt. Healthy High School in 1971 and then attended Concordia College, Ann Arbor, Michigan in preparation for the Public Office of the Holy Ministry, He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia Senior College, Ft. Wayne, Indiana. His Masters of Divinity degree was received from Concordia Theological Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri in 1981. Pastor Rodencal has served two parishes since receiving his degree: St. Mark Lutheran Church in Ruskin, Nebraska (1981-1983) and St. John Lutheran Church of rural McCook, Nebraska (1983-2001). He has also served as the Nebraska District South LWML Pastoral Advisor (1985-1989) and as the Nebraska District LLL Pastoral Advisor (1998-2001). Various community activities include, president and secretary of the Red Willow County Area Ministerial Association; serving on the Board of Trustees for the Cambridge Memorial Hospital and the Tri-Valley Health System; President of the Republican Valley Schools Foundation and Head Umpire for the McCook Midget Baseball League. Rev. Larry Rodencal has been married for 25 years to Sandra nee Pieper. Sandie was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and is a 1975 graduate of Concordia College, Seward, Nebraska. They have been blessed with 4 children. Joel and wife, Korinna, live in Lincoln, Nebraska and Jeff who resides in Omaha, Nebraska. Amanda is currently a sophomore, attending Concordia University, Meguon, Wisconsin and Amber who is a sophomore in high school. |
